What it is
Once a job is sold, it becomes a project. Each project is made up of one or more openings (individual doors/windows). Projects track a job through selections, field verification, reconciliation, and manufacturing release, on to install.
Who can use it
Project Manager, Reconciler, Manager, Executive, and Installer (read-only). Admin and Executive bypass all page gates.
How to get there
/projects (list), /projects/$projectId (project detail), and per opening:
/projects/$projectId/openings/$openingId/selections/projects/$projectId/openings/$openingId/field/projects/$projectId/openings/$openingId/field/print/projects/$projectId/openings/$openingId/reconcile/projects/$projectId/openings/$openingId/release
Also reachable from an opportunity via /opportunities/$id/projects.

Step-by-step how-tos
Move a sold opportunity into a project
- From the opportunity, go to
/opportunities/$id/projectsonce it's sold. - The project is created with an opening for each door/window sold.
Complete selections for an opening
- Go to
/projects/$projectId/openings/$openingId/selections. - Confirm final product selections for that specific opening.
Complete a field visit
- A Project Manager visits on-site and fills out
/projects/$projectId/openings/$openingId/field(or via the Field Portal at/field). - Print a hard copy if needed via
.../field/print.
Reconcile before manufacturing release
- A Reconciler reviews
/projects/$projectId/openings/$openingId/reconcile, checking field data against what was sold and what's being ordered. - Once confirmed accurate, the opening can move to
/projects/$projectId/openings/$openingId/releasefor manufacturing release.
Release for manufacturing
- Go to
.../release. - Confirm all necessary checks passed (selections locked, field verified, reconciled).
- Release — this pushes the job toward manufacturing, and outbound to ServiceTitan as the system of record for jobs/estimates.
Tips & Warnings
Tip: Installers have read-only access — they can see project/opening details relevant to their install but shouldn't expect to edit selections or reconcile records.
Warning: If a project includes a "Door / slab" material, manufacturing pushes for that bucket are currently blocked — ServiceTitan SKU 39723877 was deleted, so pushes fail until an active material is mapped in /admin/servicetitan-mapping. Check with an admin if a release seems stuck for this reason.
Note: ServiceTitan is the system of record for jobs/estimates pushed outbound from YND OS — Projects & Openings is where that handoff data gets finalized before release.
