Help Assistant
Every page in the Help Center has an Ask the Assistant panel at the bottom of the article. Type a question in plain English and it answers using the help docs.
How to use it
- Open any
/helppage. - Scroll to Ask the Assistant below the article.
- Click one of the suggested questions, or type your own and press Enter.
- Read the answer, then follow the Sources links at the bottom of the reply to read the full page.
On a phone the panel starts collapsed — tap the chevron in its header to open it.
Tip: The Assistant knows which page you're on. Asking "who owns this step?" on a workflow page gives a better answer than asking it from the help home.
What it can answer
- Role responsibilities — see Roles Overview
- Step-by-step workflows, like CSR Booking Intake
- Feature walkthroughs and where to click
- Terminology (SAD = Site Assessment Deposit, Necessary Components)
- Access and permission questions — see How Access Works
What it can't do
- It cannot see customers, opportunities, estimates, payments or any live data. Nothing from the CRM is sent to it.
- It cannot change anything in the app. It only reads the help docs.
- If a topic isn't documented yet, it says so instead of guessing. Ask your manager or an admin.
Warning: Never paste customer names, phone numbers, addresses or payment details into the Assistant. It's a docs search tool, not a place for customer records.
When answers look wrong or out of date
The Assistant only knows what's written in the help docs. If an answer is stale, the doc is stale — tell your manager or an admin so the page gets updated. See Maintaining these docs on the Help home.
