What it is
Configurator (/configurator) lets you build out a specific product configuration (style, glass, hardware, finish, etc.) step by step. Imagine (/imagine) generates photo-style visualizations of a configured product, often placed into the customer's own home photo, to help them picture the finished result.

Step-by-step how-tos
Configure a product
- Go to
/configurator. - Work through each step (style, material, glass, hardware, finish).
- The finished configuration can feed into an estimate/proposal for accurate pricing.
Generate a visualization for a customer
- Go to
/imagine. - Use a configured product (or start fresh) and generate a preview, often over a photo of the customer's home.
- Use
/imagine/preview-mockupto review the shareable version. - Use
/imagine/scratchpadif you want to iterate without committing to a final version yet.
Reference the broader catalog while configuring
- If you need to browse products outside of an in-progress configuration, use
/libraries(Catalog) or/inspirationsand/galleryfor style ideas.
Tips & Warnings
Tip: Use Imagine visuals during the consultation — they help customers commit to a design direction before you build the formal estimate.
Warning: A visualization in Imagine is not a priced quote. Always confirm final pricing and Necessary Components in the Estimate builder before sending a proposal.
Note: Configurator is not available to Executive by role gate (only Door Expert, Design Concierge, Manager), while Imagine is — if an executive needs to configure a product hands-on, they'll need to do it alongside someone with Configurator access, or via a granted Permission Set.
